New Website Launched

Insulators Local 12, the "Green Jobs" trade union, made a decision a couple months back to do a website upgrade. Over time, Local 12 was able to really analyze how the website is best used. "The website serves dual roles," says Business Manager Dennis Ippolito. "It not only keeps the union informed, but educates the public to the advantages of Building Green." The leadership of the union has been building a video and image library, and they worked hard during the winter months to launch this new site. This new site has features that will create a standard for active unions. With three unlimited photo galleries, video, scrolling banner pictures in HD, update and event listings, and an e-newsletter sign up box, these new features add to the ease of navigation for a busy and effective local union. In addition to all these new features, the union still kept all the appropriate information up to best serve the membership and promote the union's altruistic cause. A "We Are Local 12" video is planned for public screening in February 2010.
